UCB wins "Best Overall College" at Salon Culinaire 2016!
We are very proud of the students who took part in the North Warwickshire & Hinkley Salon Culinaire competition last week! Students from Bakery, Professional Cookery, Hospitality with Events and Food & Beverage Service competed in the annual skills competition. UCB brought home:

Certificate of Merit x 11

Best Overall Visiting Front of House (Laura Phillips)
Best Overall Visiting College
Everyone had a great day and got to meet Brian Turner who was one of the judges. Prizes included knife sets, cook book, medals, glass trophy and certificates of achievement.

Seafood Chef of the Year 2015
Congratulations to Team UCB for winning this prestigious accolade! Students Tim Jones and Bozhider Ivanov were mentored by Chef Jacklin in a competition which included Aiden Byrne as one of the judges.

Nestle Toque d'Or
Well done to Mike, Megan and Anna who reached the finals of the prestigious Nestle Toque d'Or competition! After a tough competition, the finalists were invited to watch filming of The X Factor. They enjoyed a wonderful evening at The Dorchester to celebrate their achievement.
